What Should You Avoid Doing Before Morpheus8 Treatments?
We recommend that, a week before Morpheus8 treatments, stop taking ibuprofen, aspirin, Motrin, Excedrin, flax oil, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, essential fatty acids, vitamin A and E, cod liver oil, and fish oil. In addition, two days before Morpheus8 treatments avoid alcohol and caffeine.

Aspirin, ibuprofen, Motrin and Excedrin can thin your blood and increase the risks of bleeding. Ginkgo biloba can interfere with the blood’s ability to clot, as can flax oil, and as a result increase one’s risk for bleeding. Ginseng is discouraged because it can elevate your blood pressure and heart rate during surgery. Cod liver oil and fish oil can increase the risk of bleeding. We recommend avoiding vitamin A and vitamin E prior to a Morpheus8 procedure as it is associated with increased bleeding and can lead to bruising.

Be prepared to list all medications, dietary supplements, and things that you consume on a regular basis during your consultation. This information allows us to safely manage your treatments with desirable outcomes.
